Joe Tomko's Code Of Ethics
Timeliness
They say showing up is half the job, and I aim to be where I’m needed, and be there on time.
Focus
When it comes to work, I don’t allow distractions to slow me down. That’s not good for anyone.
Communication
An idea is only effective if it is understood and well-received, and I always try to communicate as effectively as I can.
Respect
I recognize the hard work people do, and I want to make sure I never over-step my bounds.
Reliability
It’s important to me that I consistently do what is needed of me, so that others will trust my work.
Thoroughness
A job is done when it’s done, and not a moment before. I will strive to finish what I start.
Humility
I cannot do everything, and I will recognize the situations that call for hands other than my own.
These concepts are the bedrock of my work ethic, and will frame and influence the way I interact with employers and coworkers. I may stumble at times along the way, but these tenets will undoubtedly guide me back to the right course. With these ethics, I can be a productive helping hand for any team or company that I find myself joining.
